Starting a sports podcast has always been merely an idea in my head. For some backstory, all of my life has been (and probably always will be) surrounded by sports, primarily football. I grew up watching Patriot football with my Dad, and those are some of the greatest memories I have from that time.

For years now, I have flirted with the idea of starting up a podcast, just for the fun of it. My mantra was always “if success comes out of this, that’s great, but in the end, I will do this simply to be a sports fan.”

Problem was I didn’t know where to begin making a podcast; it was a daunting challenge at first. Being someone with an incredible fear of speaking in front of people made this seem pretty impossible.

The moral of the story: never settle, chase that thing that’s been on your heart, and go for it, even if you’re scared to do it.

The Goal(s)

Inform people.

I strive to find the most intriguing and important articles in sports on any given day. Granted I can’t cover them all, but rest assured you will leave informed after an episode.

Give honest opinions and hot takes, even if they’re unpopular.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Zach, this is a Sport Podcast. Why is Jesus coming up?" It’s incredibly simple: I’ve been through a lot and Jesus has helped me survive it all. Without Him, this podcast probably would’ve never seen the light of day. Learn more about the Bible

Talk to people about Jesus.

Being a sports fan sometimes comes with ruffling a few feathers along the way. It’s nothing personal, I promise. I can also (maybe) have some controversial takes, but I tell it how I see it, plain and simple.
